Forest Park Middle School was named a U. S. Dept. of Education Blue Ribbon School in February, 1996 and was the first school to be nominated by the Longview ISD.
The Blue Ribbon School Awards Program recognizes excellence in teaching and instruction, student achievement, leadership and parental involvement.
