Longview ISD middle school students are identified as scholars in the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP) annually. The TIP is a non-profit educational organization established in 1988 to recognize the highest scoring seventh graders who complete the SAT or the ACT assessment test(s) originally designed for high school juniors and seniors.
