After a brief economic downturn in the 1980's, Marshall, Harrison County, and the surrounding area of northeast Texas are now enjoying an economic rebirth.
The previous decline in population within the City of Marshall is also being reversed, as is evidenced by the extremely high rate of occupancy in family-owned and rental housing. Current projections point to a continued trend toward unequaled growth in Marshall and Harrison County.
