A Pine Tree ISD teacher has won the Regional Teacher of the Year Award for six consecutive years. Staff members have been named University Of Texas Teacher of Excellence, Junior Achievement Teacher of the Year for Texas, and Texas ATPE Teacher of the Year and Regional Superintendent of the Year by the Texas Association of School Boards.
