Will my child have access to appropriate technology?
The district is in the midst of an ambitious five-year technology plan. Teachers, parents, and administrators developed the plan to prepare today's students for tomorrow's world. Technology currently available includes:
- access to the Texas Education Network (TENET), World Classroom, AOL, and Prodigy
- computerized circulation and inventory systems in all libraries. Upper grade libraries have Compton's Encyclopedia on-line.
- computer labs on all campuses.
- interactive multi-media instruction
- Josten's Integrated Learning System for personalized instruction in math, reading and language arts.
