New technologies will dramatically change how an organization operates and interfaces with customers, vendors, and peers. Therefore, companies need to begin thinking now about how to incorporate Internet capabilities into a long-term organizational plan.
SIS provides planning and support services to help you work through the issues, and ask the questions necessary to develop an effective strategy.
One such issue involves using the Internet within an organization (a concept known as the Intranet). This is increasingly promoted as a way to greatly reduce costs associated with internal communication and information access.
Many experts believe that organizations have as much to gain by establishing Intranet services as by implementing the Internet for outside access.
We can help sort through the options available to you and set up a program that helps your entire organization become Internet-wise.

The amount of information available on the Internet and the World Wide Web staggers the imagination. News, stock quotes, special mailing lists, newsgroups focusing on topics of special interest, on-line newspapers and books, vendor information, and competitor information are but a sample.
As an organization, you may face the challenge of sifting through all of this information to find that which is of value to your business. The process of locating and mastering the various information services on the Internet takes a significant amount of time.
As one of our services, SIS will research various topics of interest for you and provide you information and links available on the net in order to save you the time involved in "surfing the net" yourself.
